THE FOUNDATION

What is MindSight?

MindSight is how we name what many people already sense: natural gifts were never missing, only waiting to be met.

👁️

Beyond the physical senses

MindSight points to the innate capacity to perceive beyond ordinary visual pathways, heightened inner awareness and intuition children can practice safely with attuned guides.

Training these modalities helps activate dormant cognitive and sensory capacities.

A tool for everyday life

Families often notice practical shifts: greater focus, calm, emotional regulation, and self-confidence, not just during class, but in daily life.

Children learn to trust their own inner guidance, moving from a reactive guess to a quiet, grounded knowing.

How we train

Strengthen sensory channels

Playful practice that opens tactile sensitivity, spatial awareness, and non-visual pathways for perception.

Develop deep focus

Help children filter sensory overload and find calm, centered concentration they can use at school and at home.

Grow trusted knowing

Move from an impulsive guess to a grounded, quiet knowing, building confidence and emotional intelligence.

Teacher spotlight

Meet our teachers

Hear from teachers on our team, including interviews with Marieke Leliveld and Kaitlin MacCallum, on experience guiding children in this work.

OUR MISSION

We want every child to connect to their natural gifts

We train focus, regulation, and sensory awareness through play-based MindSight modalities with attuned teachers in small cohorts, not lecture-style tutoring.

Beyond traditional education, we give families access to specialized training modalities that help activate dormant cognitive and sensory capacities: focus, confidence, self-regulation, and embodied awareness you can notice in everyday life.

The Practical Benefits

What you may notice in your child, and what many parents seek for themselves, framed in practical, believable outcomes first, with natural gifts as the deeper philosophy behind the work.

Why now

Built for how kids learn today

If you care about how your child learns and copes today, you are aligned with what research and policy increasingly recognize: attention, emotional regulation, resilience, and body awareness are foundational, not extras. Luminous Mind Academy sits at the intersection of early cognitive training, preventive youth mental health, and social-emotional learning.

Intake & readiness

Your application and interview capture your goals, concerns, your child’s temperament, screen habits, and desired outcomes before placement.

Progress tracking

Your parent dashboard shows attendance, completed practices, teacher observations, and shifts in focus, regulation, confidence, or sensory awareness.

At-home practice

Short guided exercises, reflection prompts, and parent-child activities between sessions, where much of your family’s integration happens.

Outcomes over time

Session notes, progress signals, your feedback, and cohort completion metrics build evidence in your city as the model grows.

Our Scientific Approach

We build play-based inner-skills training on heart-brain coherence and structured sensory practice, treating the mind like a muscle while children develop focus, regulation, and embodied awareness. Deeper modalities such as paroptic perception and dermovision are explored in session with expert guidance.
